Stefanie Roeland-de Kool
Between 1999 and 2001 Stefanie worked as an agricultural advisor in Uganda, where she met Rosette. After returning to the Netherlands the intensive contact remained. Rosette has visited Stefanie four times in the past twelve years. Stefanie is working for Stichting Milieukeur ( the foundation of the Dutch environmental sustainability label). She works on increasing sustainability of agricultural production through certification. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach and dunes in their hometown Noordwijk, together with her husband and two children. Besides this, she plays violin and she loves dancing, gardening and traveling.
Jacoline Kroon
Jacoline and Stefanie have been friends since their students time in Wageningen where they both played violin in the student orchestra. When Stefanie was working in Uganda, Jacoline visited her. The country was beautiful and especially the people made her visit memorable. Jacoline has met Rosette in Uganda, when Rosette was still at boarding school in Ntungamo. There she shared a room with 11 other girls with bunks three high. Giggling all over the place! Jacoline is a lawyer at A & S Lawyers in Wageningen where she specializes in Agricultural Law. She lives in Bilthoven with her husband and two young daughters. Jacoline is currently lacking time for all her hobbies, but always manages to free up time for violin and various administrative positions in social projects.Dorine Beverwijk
Dorine and Stefanie have been friends since high school and Dorine has been following Rosette’s developments in Uganda for several years now. When Stefanie worked in Uganda, Dorine has visited this beautiful country and also met Rosette. There she saw with her own eyes that education really makes a difference in Africa, with Rosette being a perfect example. Dorine lives in Amsterdam and has an international position in the IT outsourcing branch of a leading American company. In her precious spare time she likes to spend time with family and friends, and enjoys sports, dancing, cooking, traveling, theater and concerts.Kirsten de Rooij-Moerman
Kirsten is a communication & design specialist from Rotterdam where she studied, followed by several years of working at various advertising agencies in Rotterdam. She now lives in Noordwijkerhout, and yes, that required some adjustment. For already 8 years now, she has her own business as a graphic designer and creator of communication concepts. A few years ago she met Stefanie during a class of pregnancy yoga and there was immediately a click. When Stefanie recently told her about Auntie Rosette, she obviously did not hesitate to put her teeth in this. Furthermore, she loves her husband and three children, traveling, cooking, designing, painting and boot camp. She cannot stand ugly things and PCs, and she is not too diplomatic.
